This post is way over due. I was just going to post one post at the end of summer about what we had done, but there was to much stuff, so I'll post everything else later and start with this. Brody had to go to school during the summer semester, so he only got about 1 1/2 weeks off between spring and summer quarter to hang out with us during the day. We figured we would milk that time for all it was worth, so during that week we pretty much did everything possible. We went to the zoo, Cosi, Thurmans, Wholy Joe's, parks, the mall, went to Louisville, and probably did other stuff, but since I don't have pictures of it I don't remember.

I will start with the restaurants we went to, because food is the most important. If anyone has seen the show Man v. Food, than you probably have heard about Thurmans Cafe and the Thurmanator. It is a huge hamburger. When I say huge that is an understatement. This hamburger is bigger than your entire head. Brody of course had to get it, because he can never turn down an eating challenge. This thing was enormous.

I have not ever been a huge hot dog fan, but that has recently changed after trying a Chicago style hot dog. There is a restaurant called Wholy Joes that makes hot dogs worth eating. They are amazing. All you Columbusodians, or people of Columbus have got to try it. They are so good. They have fresh tomatoes wedges, a dill pickle spear, cucumbers, sport peppers, relish, diced onions, yellow mustard, all served on a steamed poppy sead bun. Seriously, this is a good hot dog, and I don't even really like hot dogs.

We have zoo passes so went to the zoo as a family. Whenever Brody goes to the zoo with us it is so much more fun. I'm boring and just walk around and look at the animals we have seen a million times. When Brody goes he takes the kids to all the other fun stuff. They do pony rides, train rides, and go on the roller coasters. The kids have so much fun with daddy.

COSI is a children's museum we have here. We love this museum. The kids always have a blast. Last time we went with Brody they had, farm days, and had tons of tractors and farming equipment. Baylor and Chase got these cute John Dear hats.

Finally, we took Brody to Louisville, KY. We stayed the night, went swimming, went to the slugger museum, ate lots of food, and Brody even got his own Louisville slugger.

You guys are such a cute family! We seriously can't wait to see you guys next week. Brenna misses her cousins! :)
There is another really amazing sandwich shop in Columbus where man vs food went. They had a sandwich called the Dagwood?. I want to see Brody eat that one. Can't wait to see you guys soon.
You did more in a week than I did all summer! And that hamburger looks disgusting :)
