More of the wedding

Okay, so I know most poeple are over my sister Samantha's wedding, but we just got new pictures from her photographer I wanted to post. Plus I also just figured out how to post this video my sister Carol and hubby Jimmy made. I usually don't watch people's videos they post on their blogs, but Carol and Jimmy did awesome, so I think it's worth watching, but don't worry if you don't want to watch it I won't come slash your tires or anything.

Little update

I'm in Houston, TX right now. Brody is in Columbus, OH, yet we should be in Lake Charles, LA. Oh well, we will get there eventually. Maybe not this month but eventually. I came here last week for my sisters wedding and to find a place to live in Lake Charles. I didn't realize finding a place to rent was going to be such a difficult task. I had been searching online for a while now and decided to go see the few homes I found. My dad and I went to Lake Charles on Monday. The homes I found ended up being dumps. The only nice house was right on a lake with no fence and an immediate drop off...not the ideal situation for small children. So, after talking to some real estate agents who informed us there were basically no homes to rent in that city we said forget it to renting a house. So we'll be living in an apartment for a while.
Getting from Columbus to Houston was not my greatest moment. I flew out here with both kids. I went through security while holding Chase. The metal detector kept beeping on us. I am always very cautious and have no metal on. After several times someone suggested that maybe Chase had a car in his pocket. That never crossed my mind, because Chase doesn't know how to put cars in his pockets, but apparently our old babysitter put them in when she come over earlier that day to say goodbye. So it turns out they were right, he had 2 cars in his pockets. So after about 5 attempts and several rolling eyes I passed through security. I realize now I should have ran then, because everything was just going to get worse. We had an evening flight, which ended up getting delayed, and Chase was tired so I thought he would just fall asleep, but I was wrong. He was flipping out for about 30-45 mins straight. He was tired, but he would not stop screaming. He would not settle down enough to go to sleep. Eventually him and Baylor both fell asleep and all was well until the flight ended and Baylor threw up not once but 2 times. But, I made it, and I kept reminding myself that it was a one way flight and I don't have to do it again...thank goodness.
Like I mentioned Brody is still in Ohio. He will be packing a moving truck on Tuesday and then joining us in Houston. He'll then be spending the 1st part of the following week in Lake Charles to start training and learning. We then might go to San Antonio or somewhere to kill time. Then we are going to Aspen Grove the 2nd week of July for a family reunion. After that we will officially move to Lake Charles and start working and living there. Our apartment is not going to be available to move into until the middle of July, so that's why it's taking us such a long time to get out there, but needless to say we are excited to start this new chapter in our lives. It's just a little more delayed than we had wanted.

Good Bye Columbus

Well this is my last day in Columbus. I leave this evening to go to Houston. My sister is going through the temple tomorrow and getting married on Saturday. I'm then going to Lake Charles on Monday to check out a few homes we want to rent. Brody is going to stay in Columbus for a week or so, because we don't have anywhere to send a moving truck to. He'll finish packing and load the truck and then join us in Lake Charles as soon as I give the okay. Thanks to all our great friends here in Columbus. We will miss you all so much!

Graduation

Congratulations on graduation Brody!!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The proud mommy, daddy, and wifey
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here is Brody's family that came to his graduation.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After the ceremony Chase was so excited to see his daddy. The entire time Chase kept yelling over the balcony, "Daddy, Daddy!" Baylor was funny when he saw Brody after the ceremony, he kept asking him why he was wearing a costume.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
These pictures sum up how my children were at graduation, oh let's be honest they are always like this. I think they wore out their uncles and grandparents because they are always running away. They are so naughty.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The day before graduation Brody and his family went to campus and the football stadium. They decided to follow tradition and spell OHIO outside the stadium. They ran out of letters so Dallin is apparently confused, Zach is giving an enthusiastic thumb up, and Stephanee is the exclamation point.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stella and Brelle looking so cute in their pink striped jammies. Chase just couldn't resist sitting between these cuties.
