#1 I sucked my thumb until I was 8. I know that's forever. I tried to convenience everyone it was okay because it taste like spaghetti. After a while I only sucked my thumb at night. After trying everything my mom made me sleep with socks on my hands. I soon discovered that nearly all my socks had holes in them, so I would just pick the ones with holes and stick my thumb through the holes and continue my horrible habit.
#2 Growing up I lived in 2 different places. The first was Midland, Texas, which is where I was born and then we moved to Houston when I was 8. While living in Midland we had a pretty small house and a not so small family. There were 13 people in a 4 bedroom house. I shared a room with 5 of my sisters. That's right 6 girls in one room. I don't know of anyone that can top that, but if so let me know.
#3 One of my frantic childhood memories is an encounter with an armadillo. It all happened one summer day while bike riding with my friend to Sonic (which Brody refers to as “Slow”nic), which is a another story, because in Texas Sonic is awesome and fast, but apparently everywhere else in the country they are slow and not so great. Back to my story...my friend and I were almost there when we came across an armadillo. I swear the armadillo looked at us with its beady little red eyes and started chasing us away. We turned and rode away as fast as we could not looking back, fearing that if we did the armadillo would claw our eyes out.#5 I have only one somewhat adventurous experience in my life that I can think of. I know it's kind of lame but here it is. While in high school some friends convinced me to climb the 2 story building that the school's swimming pool was in. When we got to the top we were to hang from an open air vent and drop into the swimming pool. I was fearless and I did it. You can all applaud me and carry me on your shoulders next time you see me.
#6 Randomly, I know the make and model of cars really well. You can point out a car in a parking lot and cover the name and make and I could tell you what it was and possibly the year it was made. I don't know how I know these things but I do. I'm really good just try to test me.
I now tag, Angie, Carissa, Sarah, and Vanessa

wow, that is a lot of girls in one room! and you should bring back the wedge. also, weird that I have that SAME weird talent of knowing cars makes/models/years. we should have a show-down. bike racks, after school.
About linking. You just highlight the name and like adding pictures there is a icon you can click on that is links. So highlight, click the link icon and put in the web address. Let me know if it works for you. You need to go to posts and edit post, click on the post and then you can link. jamie
I can't believe htat tha tyou shared a room with 5 of your sisters! How did that work? I had a heart attack when I had to share a room with my little brother until I was in 5th grade!
Ha! I looked like a boy for about 4 years of my life as well! Glad to know I'm not alone. You're encounter with the armadillo sounds very similar to several encounters I've had with "geese" here in Ohio. I feel for you.
Wow, I never knew you were such a rebel climbing the high school roof and jumping into the pool. I never even did that.
Chris
The Year even? You are good.
While posting a comment on Hayley's blog I read your comment and YOU ARE FUNNY!! I don't know if I am just incredibly tired but I got a good laugh at how "generous" you are! :)
I am for sure going to carry you around on my shoulders next weeks in church. What fun facts about you.
You are so funny, I would love to see a picture of you with that haircut, you should share it.
I was unaware of your car model talent. How has this not come out before? You are hilarious. I love the picture of the haircut you had, surely it wasn't that bad......or was it? I too had a terrible haircut all growing up, I just blame it on my parents. I was oblivious.
The Wedge hair cut, I love it!! I have to see a picture of that. By the way I just found your blog and I love all of your cute pictures on it.
Jimmy would agree about "Slow-nic" he never understood why I thought sonic was so great when we lived in Utah. Now that we're in Texas we stop by there probably once a week, he's a big fan. See everything is better in Texas.
love,
Carol (AKA Carl when sporting a wedge haircut)
